Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System Ordinance
Public Hearing for the proposed ordinance will be held on May 18th at 9:00 a.m at the Clarke County Courthouse, 100 South Main St. Osceola.
The purpose of this ordinance is to adopt Chapter 567-69 of the Iowa Administrative Code and to promulgate other rules relating to private sewage disposal systems and to provide for the enforcement thereof. The Ordinance identifies the rules, permit procedures, contractor requirements, time of transfer binding agreements, criminal penalties and civil remedies.
