ABSENTEE VOTING

October 9, 2020 by Rachel Paulus

IOWA COUNTY AUDITORS PROVIDE SAFE AND SECURE ELECTIONS

If you would like to vote absentee in Clarke County, you will need to complete an Absentee Ballot Request Form and return it to the Auditor’s office. Many different organizations are sending request forms. Our office will only send a request form if you request one from us. You only need to return one request to the Auditor. The rest can be thrown away. If we receive multiple requests from a voter, that voter will still only receive one ballot.

After you receive your ballot and have voted, you can either mail it back to the Auditor, put it in the drop box on the north side of the courthouse or bring it to the Auditor’s office.

Absentee voting can be done at the Auditor’s office during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) until November 2 at 5:00 p.m. We will also be open Saturday, October 24 (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and Saturday, October 31 (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) for absentee voting.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Janice White, Clarke County Auditor at 641-342-3315 or jwhite@clarkecountyiowa.org
